8. Register data protection principles

A. Manual material
If manual material is printed out from the register stored on the computer, the material is kept in a locked space, and only the registrar has the right to access the register.

B. Data stored on the computer
Only the registrar can access the register data. Only the registrar has the right to handle the data.

9. Right to inspect and carrying out the inspection right

Everyone has the right to verify personal data. There is no verification fee. The verification request must be made in writing with a personally signed letter or in person at the registrar. More information on the inspection and data correction right can be found in the Data Protection Ombudsman’s guidelines.

10. Correction of information and carrying out the corrections

11. Other possible rights

In accordance with section 30 of the Personal Data Act, “A data subject has the right to prohibit the registrar from processing personal data for purposes of direct advertising, distance selling, other direct marketing, market research, opinion polls, public registers or genealogical research.”
