In addition TMI data, Radai measures the vector magnetic field. The individual XYZ components of the magnetic field help 3D data interpretation by reducing the ambiguity of the inverse solution. XYZ data also helps identifying remanent magnetization.
Key concept:
- Digital 3-component fluxgate magnetometer (resolution 0.1 nT)
- Fixed installation into VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) drones
IMU (Inertial - Measurement Unit) provides orientation (<0.2° for yaw angle)
- Radai Multipurpose (RMP) datalogger (sampling rate 130 Hz)
- 3-hour flight endurance, multiple drones flying simultaneously
- BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line-Of-Sight) operations
- Data post-processing using equivalent layer modelling (ELM)
- 3D inversion of vector magnetic data providing accurate earth models
Radai’s drone magnetic map inside polygon area compared with ground magnetic map around it.
