Since beginning of August, Radai’s workforce is one employee stronger: Miia Mikkonen, who worked previously to Mining Finland, joined Radai as the Head of International Operations. In this role Miia will manage company’s efforts in expanding its operations to new markets, especially in Africa and Scandinavia.

With a M.Sc. in Geography in the field of Regional Politics and Development, an MBA in International Business Management and 10+ years of experience in the mining industry, Miia is highly qualified  for the job, being a valuable addition to Radai’s team.

During her decade-long career in the mining industry, Miia has been involved in community relations and social impact assessment in mining projects in Finland. She has been internationalizing mineral exploration technologies to India and optical measurement technology to selected target countries. During her stage at Mining Finland, she  represented Finnish mining technologies and services to the global mining industry, which offered her with a great opportunity to widen her international networks and gain valuable information about the mining industry. She will use all this knowledge and her extensive network to strengthen Radai’s position in the drone-based mineral exploration market
